'Pretty/Handsome' can't find a home
July 07, 2008 The controversial project, exec produced by Murphy, Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner, was developed for FX, which ordered it to pilot starring Joseph Fiennes as a family man who decides to get a sex change. The pilot, which co-starred Blythe Danner, Robert Wagner and Christopher Egan, created strong buzz around town, but in March, FX passed on it. "Pretty/Handsome" producer 20th Century Fox TV shopped the project to other outlets but was unsuccessful.
