Spike renews 'Ways to Die,' 'MANswers'
April 22, 2009 Spike TV has renewed "1000 Ways to Die" and "MANswers" and is expanding the "Die" franchise with spinoff "1000 Ways to Lie." The late-night trivia show "MANswers" has been picked up for 10 episodes, while the 13-episode order for "Die," from Thom Beers' Original Prods., includes a pilot for "Lie." The first season of "Die" averaged 1.5 million viewers, hitting a series high with the season finale (1.8 million), and was the most-watched video content on Spike.com in February.
