Stiles goes out on a limb for 'Owl'

October 23, 2007 Sarah Polley was initially attached to star in writer-director Jamie Thraves' adaptation of the 1962 novel by Patricia Highsmith ("The Talented Mr. Ripley") for producers BBC Films and Myriad Pictures' Kirk D'Amico, but she dropped out because of a scheduling conflict. Highsmith's book was previously adapted in a 1987 French-language film by director Claude Chabrol. Stiles will be seen in "Gospel Hill" and is set to co-produce and star in the Sylvia Plath adaptation "The Bell Jar" for Plum Pictures in association with Killer Films.
