Broadway going 'Dark' for Spidey
February 24, 2009 Turn Off the Dark, directed by Julie Taymor with music and lyrics by Bono and the Edge, will open on Broadway on Feb. 18. Producing are Hello Entertainment's David Garfinkle, Martin McCallum, Marvel Entertainment's David Maisel, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Jeremiah Harris. Also involved in the production, with a reported budget of $31 million, are Omneity Entertainment's Richard Weinberg, the Mayerson/Gould/Hauser/Tysoe Group, and Patricia Lambrecht and Jam Theatricals of S2BN Entertainment.
