'Design' lays blueprint for third season


September 04, 2007 HGTV is moving forward with a third season of the reality competition series "Design Star," which has broken network viewership records. In addition, the Scripps-owned channel has ordered three more seasons -- or 39 additional episodes -- of "Color Splash," the show hosted by "Design Star's" first-season winner, David Bromstad. The second-season finale of "Design" is set to air at 9 p.m. Sept. 16.
