ABC picks up more 'Eli Stone'
October 14, 2008 ABC's preemptive order from ABC Studios suggests the network is pleased with the creative direction of the show's new season. The series was a midseason replacement last season. Since "Stone" has only been off the air for six months -- instead of 10 like several returning freshman dramas interrupted by the writers strike -- there's some hope that the series will feel comparatively fresh to viewers.
