'The Cove' tops Nantucket fest


June 21, 2009 The fest presented its Adrienne Shelley Excellence in Filmmaking Award, which recognizes a female filmmaker, to "Amreeka" writer-director Cherien Dabis. The winner of Showtime's Tony Cox Screenplay Competition, which recognizes an emerging screenwriter, was Jenny Deller for her script "Future Weather." Showtime's Tony Cox Award for Screenwriting was awarded to Mark Boal for "The Hurt Locker."
