Oni joins 60Frames on Web


June 25, 2008 Online entertainment distributor 60Frames said Wednesday it will team with comic book publisher Oni Press to launch Web shows, including one created by veteran TV writer-producer Tom Fontana. "Ark" is an original science fiction series created by Robbie Thompson and developed by Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah, exec producers of the CW's upcoming "90210" spinoff. The Web show, set to launch in early 2009, will be a mixture of live action and CGI and follow a woman who unexpectedly wakes up on a spacecraft.
