Four set to begin 'Endings'
September 22, 2009 Dennis Hopper, Scott Caan, Tricia Helfer and J.K. Simmons are boarding "A Beginner's Guide to Endings," a dark comedy written and directed by newcomer Jonathan Sobol. Nicholas Tabarrok, whose "Defendor" was one of the few films sold during the Toronto International Film Festival, is producing through his Darius Films banner. Shooting is due to start the last week of October in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Sobol hails from the region, and "Endings" is something of an homage to his hometown.
