Terry Christensen denied new trial


October 27, 2008 A Los Angeles federal court judge on Monday denied entertainment lawyer Terry Christensen's bid for a new trial. Christensen, whose clients include former MGM owner and billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, claimed a juror was improperly removed during deliberations because he disagreed with his fellow jurors. Christensen and former celebrity sleuth Anthony Pellicano were found guilty in August of illegally wiretapping Kerkorian's ex-wife.
