Jet Li donates to Taiwan relief


August 15, 2009 Jet Li and fellow celebrities attended a televised fundraiser that collected more than $11 million for victims of Taiwan's worst storm in 50 years. Li and fellow stars from Taiwan and Hong Kong, including actor Leon Lai and singer Andy Hui, appealed for donations at the charity show in Taipei late Friday, Hong Kong's Oriental Daily News reported on its Web site Saturday. Taiwanese first lady Chou Mei-ching joined celebrities in taking calls at the phone bank.
