'Desperate Housewives' may add two seasons
December 10, 2008 Series creator/exec producer Marc Cherry let slip Wednesday that he is in talks with ABC about continuing the hit dramedy for another two seasons. On Wednesday, he acknowledged that he recently had changed his mind as the show rebounded creatively and ratings-wise this fall, ranking as ABC's top scripted series. "The five-year jump seems to have reinvigorated interest in the show, and the ratings are terrific," Cherry said, referring to the show's story leaping five years into the future.
