Sony picks up Lucy Prebble's Enron play
September 21, 2009 Sony has purchased the film rights to playwright Lucy Prebble's "Enron," currently being staged in a sold-out run at London's Royal Court Theatre. Laura Ziskin ("To Die For") will produce; Margo Lion, a Tony winner for producing "Hairspray" and "Angels in America," will serve as a co-producer on the project. Columbia Pictures president Matt Tolmach will oversee the project for the studio.
