Swine flu delays 'Salvation' in Mexico
April 30, 2009 "Terminator Salvation" has become the latest summer tentpole to fall victim to the swine flu in Mexico, where Sony has postponed its release of the Christian Bale starrer until July 31. "Salvation" -- which Warner Bros. has set for the domestic Memorial Day frame -- had been scheduled to unspool June 5 south of the border. "Like everyone, we have been closely monitoring the situation in Mexico all week, and we continue to be extremely concerned about this health crisis," Sony spokesman Steve Elzer said.
