AMC taps Susie Fitzgerald


September 24, 2009 In the new position, Fitzgerald will oversee the day-to-day operations of the network's current original scripted programming as well as the development of new projects. AMC had been looking to add another scripted programming executive since February, when senior vp scripted series and miniseries Christina Wayne abruptly resigned after three years on the job. Fitzgerald most recently was president of Barry Josephson's 20th TV-based production company ("Bones").
