'Samantha' staying strong behind 'Dancing'


October 31, 2007 Viewers kept boosting freshman sitcom "Samantha Who?" in another outing behind ABC's powerhouse "Dancing With the Stars." Previous shows had a tough time keeping crowds after "Dancing," but that wasn't the case with "Samantha" (15.4 million, 4.9/11), according to preliminary estimates released Tuesday by Nielsen Media Research. "Samantha" not only retained an impressive amount of the "Dancing" audience but also improved 12% in viewership and 8% in adults 18-49 week to week.
