Producer pair to 'Apologize'
June 25, 2008 Film producer Richard Gladstein and theater producer Daryl Roth are teaming to produce "Apologize, Apologize," a comedy drama based on Elizabeth Kelly's novel about an eccentric New England family. The project centers on Collie, a boy who grows up on Martha's Vineyard surrounded by a set of colorful characters, including an activist mother and a mogul grandfather. Gladstein is behind hits like "The Bourne Identity," with Kelly's voice said to contain echoes of John Irving.
