'Slumdog' tops audio nods


February 15, 2009 The film's production mixer Resul Pookutty and re-recording mixers Ian Tapp and Richard Pryke accepted the award for outstanding achievement in motion picture sound mixing at the Cinema Audio Society's 45th Annual Awards dinner Saturday evening at the Millennium-Biltmore Hotel. Slumdog" topped a feature category that was rounded out by "The Dark Knight," "Iron Man," "Quantum of Solace" and "WALL-E. No Mercy was recognized for a nonfiction, variety or music series or special.
