'Fast & Furious' tops video charts


August 05, 2009 Universal's "Fast & Furious" sped to the top spot on the national home video sales, rental and Blu-ray Disc sales charts for the week ended Aug. 2. The action title stared down last week's triple threat, Warner's "Watchman," which slipped to No. 2 on Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert overall sales and Blu-ray Disc sales charts and on Home Media Magazine's rental chart. Newcomers to the rental chart included Starz/Anchor Bay's thriller "Streets of Blood" (No. 11), starring Val Kilmer, 50 Cent and Sharon Stone, and Genius' "The Killing Room" (No. 15), with Timothy Hutton and Chloe Sevigny.
