Focus Features sets release dates

January 12, 2009 Focus Features on Monday locked down domestic release dates for pics by Jim Jarmusch and the Coen brothers, as well as one of two 2009 releases titled "9." Focus, which has the Sean Penn starrer "Milk" playing in 295 theaters, also will unspool the Henry Selick-directed stop-motion animated feature "Coraline" in 3-D and conventional venues Feb. 6. Other upcoming titles include "Sin Nombre," a thriller penned and helmed by Cary Joji Fukunaga ("Kofi") set for limited release March 20; "Away We Go," a comedy directed by Sam Mendes from a script by Dave Eggers and Vendela Vida that's slotted for limited release June 5; and Ang Lee's fact-based drama "Taking Woodstock," scheduled to unspool in select markets Aug. 14.
