With the general populace collectively holding its breath from anxiety over the real thing, Paramount's terrorism-themed "The Sum of All Fears" arrives at probably the most opportune moment to command attention in the megahit-dominated marketplace. Thankfully, the plot is not entirely believable and the good guys prevail, placing this movie squarely in the realm of Hollywood pulp thrills. Can a catastrophic global nuclear war start by accident? "Sum" asks and answers questions that audiences may not want to think about.
