A big DVD victory in the cards for '21'
July 30, 2008 Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's drama "21" aced the DVD and Blu-ray Disc sales and rental charts for the week ending July 27, debuting at No. 1 in a relatively slow week for new releases. "21," with a boxoffice gross of $81.2 million, was the only theatrical feature to be released to the home entertainment market last week. It's no surprise, then, that the film easily captured the top spot on the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, outselling Disney's "Step Up 2 the Streets," last week's No. 1, by a margin of nearly 4-to-1.
