De Niro, Pacino sue over watch ads


March 05, 2009 Both actors said in the lawsuit that a series of advertisements falsely suggested the two actors endorsed Tutima watches. The suit that names De Niro and Pacino as plaintiffs seeks damages from Overture Films, based in Los Angeles and Tutima, a German watchmaker. The series of promotions included one print advertisement that showed the actors faces and their names above a picture of a Tutima watch and a "Righteous Kill" video clip that appeared on Tutima's Web site, the lawsuit said.
