Dr. Phil eyes Potter's preacher


May 22, 2008 CBS Television Distribution is revving up its syndicated development slate for fall 2009. The distributor is developing a talk show that would be hosted by T.D. Jakes, head of nondemoninational church the Potter's House, who has made several appearances on the CBS-distributed "Dr. Phil." The project, from Dr. Phil and Jay McGraw's Stage 29, would center on such topics as relationships and family issues.
