TNT orders 'Rizzoli' pilot


October 06, 2009 TNT has given a cast-contingent pilot order to "Rizzoli," a drama pilot based on Tess Gerritsen's Jane Rizzoli mystery novels. Michael Robin, helmer and executive producer on TNT's hit "The Closer," also a female-cenered cop series, is in talks to direct the pilot, which is produced by Warner Horizon. If "Rizzoli" goes into production it will join the Steven Spielberg-produced alien invasion project, which TNT picked up to pilot in July with Noah Wyle tapped as the lead.
