Cineworld rides high on 'Slumdog'

Cineworld sees total estimated revenue up 16.5%, or up 12.2% on a proforma basis, for the 27 weeks ending July 2, driven by the success of British multi-Oscar winner "Slumdog Millionaire," and other films such as "Star Trek," "Transformers" and "X-Men." Boxoffice takings are expected to rise 22.5%, or up 17.9% on a proforma basis, in the first half.
