Televisa links up with Argentine producers

October 07, 2008 Mexican network Televisa has inked a three-year production and distribution pact with Cris Morena Group and RGB Entertainment, two of Argentina's top producers. The companies will launch the newly formed alliance with the teen series "Casi Angeles" and musical sitcom "B&B." Televisa said Thursday that the pact will allow the three companies to better position their content in the international marketplace as they look to sell formats and exploit new-media platforms. Televisa, the world's top producer of Spanish-language content, has been stepping up its international presence recently with co-production pacts in China and France.
