Fox Atomic wades into 'Shimmer Lake'

February 24, 2009 WMA-repped Barry Josephson, exec producer on the Fox series "Bones" and producer of the Disney theatrical hit "Enchanted," will produce. "Lake" centers on a sheriff investigating a series of murders as well as the disappearance of a bank robber, with clues and the movie's timeline leading back to a heist the robber committed. Genre banner Fox Atomic, run by Fox Searchlight topper Peter Rice, has a number of movies in production or postproduction, with the Diablo Cody-penned supernatural tale "Jennifer's Body" and the John Cena-toplined kidnapping pic "12 Rounds" among the titles on its 2009 release slate.
