'M:I 3' tops weekly rental, sales charts


November 09, 2006 The week belonged to Paramount Home Entertainment, which nabbed three of the four top spots on the national DVD sales chart and two of the three top rentals. Impossible 3, which in its first week in stores stormed to the top of both Nielsen VideoScan's First Alert sales chart and Home Media Retailing's rental chart for the week ending Nov. 5. DreamWorks Animation's "Over the Hedge," distributed by Paramount, retained its No. 2 spot on First Alert for the second consecutive week, while "Nacho Libre" slipped to No. 4, right behind Sony Pictures' "Monster House," the previous week's top seller.
