Braff, Denman aspire to Fox 'Saint' hood
December 21, 2007 Two actors from NBC's Thursday comedy block, "Scrubs" star Zach Braff and "The Office" alum David Denman, are uniting for "Saint of Circumstance," a drama pilot for Fox. The project, from ABC Studios, centers on Wayne (Denman), a man going through a midlife crisis who quits his dead-end office job to be a paramedic on the night shift. There is no start date for the pilot, which is expected to film after the end of the writers strike, accommodating Braff's acting duties on "Scrubs."
