Palm buys Marley docu 'Africa Unite'
September 26, 2007 The feature follows three generations of the Marley’s family as they take their first trip to Ethiopia for a landmark concert commemorating the singer’s 60th birthday. UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador artists Danny Glover and Angélique Kidjo appear in the film, along with footage of the 12-hour political concert attended by more than 300,000 people. “‘Africa Unite’ is a call to action catalyzed by Bob Marley’s musical legacy,” said Danny Glover, one of the film’s executive producers.
