'Tokyo!' heads to North America


May 20, 2008 Liberation Entertainment has snatched up North American rights in a low six figure deal for "Tokyo!," the film triptych from all-star directors Michel Gondry, Leos Carax and Joon-ho Bong. Gondry's "Interior Design" is a fable that centers on a couple drifting apart. Los Angeles and London-based Liberation launched in 2006 but has only recently ramped up its theatrical distribution arm.
