Mark Burnett, AEG ink TV, stage deal


April 08, 2008 Reality producer Mark Burnett is joining forces with concert promoter AEG Live to translate some of his television content to the arena stage. AEG Live has presented stage versions of Fox's "American Idol," Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana" and USA Network's "Nashville Star." Burnett's multiyear deal with the promoter allows a partnership to develop and produce live entertainment and tours based on Burnett's reality and game show properties.
