'Money' talks: Danson joins comedy


April 16, 2007 Ted Danson has joined "Mad Money," a comedic caper that Callie Khouri is directing from her own script. Roger Cross, Stephen Root, Adam Rothenberg, J.C. MacKenzie, Chris McDonald and Finesse Mitchell also have been cast in the Millennium Films production, which is being toplined by Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Katie Holmes. Set in Kansas City, Mo., "Money" follows three co-workers, all with their own motives, who hatch a plan to steal money scheduled to be destroyed at the Federal Reserve Bank.
