Hunt talks 'Then She Found Me'

March 18, 2008 When asked about her feature directorial debut, "Then She Found Me," Helen Hunt told The Hollywood Reporter she is proud that the "very weird, funny story made it on film." Along with directing the picture and contributing to the screenplay, Hunt stars in the romantic dramedy as a woman who simultaneously has to deal with an unexpected divorce, the death of her adoptive mother and a forced relationship with her eccentric birth mother. Though she directed several episodes of her sitcom "Mad About You," this was the first time she sat in the director's chair for a feature film.
