Foreign-language BAFTA nominations revealed
January 07, 2009 The winner of this year's foreign-language Orange British Academy Film Award will come from either "The Baader Meinhof Complex," "Gomorrah," "I've Loved You So Long," "Persepolis" or "Waltz With Bashir." Organizers said the nominations have been unveiled ahead of the other categories to allow voting members at the British Academy of Film And Television Arts (BAFTA) "a longer period to view the five films in contention." Chapter voting was introduced for this nomination category back in 2007 for the 2008 awards.
