'90210' spinoff not Thomas' priority


April 14, 2008 The CW and producing studio CBS Paramount Network TV fast-tracked "90210" late in the development process and tapped Thomas to pen the pilot script on a very tight timetable. Thomas, who has made tweaks to the "90210" script and has been attending casting sessions for the pilot, will continue to serve as an executive producer on the pilot and the potential series. [...] given his limited availability as his ABC pilots are also gearing up for production, CBS Par had been looking to bring another writer to do a rewrite of the "90210" pilot script.
