TNT clinches deal for 4th 'Closer'

August 02, 2007 The cable network has ordered 15 episodes for Season 4 of the detective drama, starring Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Kyra Sedgwick, set to launch next summer. In addition to Sedgwick, the ensemble cast will be back for the fourth season, including Jon Tenney, J.K. Simmons, Corey Reynolds, Robert Gossett, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Raymond Cruz, Michael Paul Chan and Gina Ravera. The June 18 Season 3 premiere beat the show's second-season premiere to become basic cable's No. 1 series telecast of all time among households and viewers.
