Miramax picks up 'Last Night' for $4 mil


November 03, 2008 The film revolves around a married couple (Knightley and Sam Worthington) separated for a night when the husband takes a business trip with a colleague he desires (Mendes). The specialty division is closing a deal for rights in North America, the U.K., Australia/New Zealand, Latin America, Brazil and South Africa. Gaumont and Nick Wechsler Prods. are producing the first feature from Tadjedin, who is writing an untitled project for Steven Spielberg.
