BBC World News to hit India mobiles
September 19, 2008 BBC World News will soon be offered on India's second-largest mobile network, reaching 57 million subscribers, network operator Reliance Communications said Friday. Live streaming of BBC World News will be available on the Reliance Mobile World service, which also offers more than 200,000 titles in the areas of mobile TV, videos, cricket updates, music and ringtones. The deal was announced by Krishna Durbha, RCOM's head of value-added services, business and marketing and Nachiket Pantvaidya, GM for BBC Global Channels, South Asia.
