Universal extends Warners deal for Russia


December 02, 2008 Universal Pictures International Entertainment and Warner Home Video have extended their DVD distribution deal with Universal Pictures Russia for another three years. UPR first signed a distribution agreement with Warner Home Video in 2005. UPR managing director Egor Borisov said the agreement "will benefit both companies in terms of strengthening distribution channels and working together to combat the challenge of piracy."
