Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards sets records


April 01, 2008 The show, which aired from 8-9:30 p.m. Saturday, became the most-watched KCAs ever among kids 2-11 and total viewers, beating last year's record-breaking edition, according to Nielsen Media Research. The KCAs, which have seen viewership grow every year since 2003, also was the No. 1 program on all of television for the week with kids and tweens as well as the No. 1 cable show among total viewers. Meanwhile, the Showtime drama "The Tudors" returned with its second-season premiere at 9 p.m. Sunday, drawing 768,000 viewers, a 12% drop-off from the series premiere (10 p.m. April 1, 2007) but 65% higher than the first-season finale (June 10).
