'Indiana Jones' bound for Blu-ray

August 12, 2008 "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" will be the first new theatrical feature from Lucasfilm Ltd. and Steven Spielberg to be released on Blu-ray Disc, according to Paramount Home Entertainment. Both the DVD and Blu-ray Disc will be two-disc special editions with several hours of bonus materials. Among them: "The Return of a Legend," a documentary about the making of the film; a six-part production diary; several galleries, production stills and behind-the-scenes photos; three previsualization sequences; a preproduction visit with Spielberg and other cast and crew members as they prepare for the film; and six featurettes on the warrior makeup, the crystal skulls, the cultural impact of the Indiana Jones character, the film's props, the creative team behind the film and the postproduction process.
