Ja Rule can't post bail for co-defendants


February 28, 2008 A judge in New York says Ja Rule can't post bail for co-defendants in a gun possession case -- and she wants the duo to come up with their own money. State Supreme Court Justice Micki Scherer said Wednesday the rapper "put himself in the position of perhaps controlling the outcome of the case" by posting thousands of dollars in bail for the co-defendants.
