Vying for face time with the candidates
September 03, 2008 The booking wars crescendoed Tuesday, with the McCain campaign canceling a planned interview with CNN's Larry King and Barack Obama finally agreeing to a visit to the "no-spin zone." The McCain camp was upset about an exchange Monday night between CNN anchor Campbell Brown and a McCain operative over questions of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin's foreign policy and military experience. CNN's interview with McCain on "Larry King Live" was canceled, with reports tying the cancellation to the interview.
