Mariah Carey, Nas set for free shows


July 16, 2008 Mariah Carey, Gavin Rossdale, LeAnn Rimes, Nelly and Nas, among others, will perform as part of the second annual Samsung AT&T Summer Krush, a free summer concert series designed to highlight Samsung's music-centric BlackJack II mobile phone. The concert series launches July 31 in Los Angeles with a 35-minute performance by Carey at the Hollywood & Highland Center. The concert event continues to visit 1,000- to 2,000-capacity venues through mid-September with three additional artists, who will be announced shortly.
