'Extra' energy for show, co-hosts


January 29, 2007 Domestic Television Distribution has renewed Telepictures Prods.' syndicated newsmagazine "Extra" through the 2009-10 season. Senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey also has inked a new multiyear agreement to maintain her oversight of the show. "Extra" has been cleared in more than 95% of the country through 2009-10, including the NBC O&Os in New York (WNBC), Los Angeles (KNBC), Chicago (WMAQ), Philadelphia (WCAU), San Francisco/San Jose (KNTV), Dallas (KXAS), Miami (WTVJ) and Hartford, Conn.
