Saturn to honor father-son duo
March 20, 2008 Television producers Robert Halmi Sr. and Robert Halmi Jr. will receive the Life Career Award at the 34th annual Saturn Awards, to be held June 24 in Universal City. The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films, which hands out the awards, will also honor Matt Reeves, director of "Cloverfield," with its Filmmakers ShowCase Award, and Fred Barton, who's created robots for such movies as "Forbidden Planet," with its Service Award.
