Trio joins Grandin project


October 03, 2008 Mick Jackson is directing, and Claire Danes is starring as Grandin, one of the leading speakers on autism, whose unique experience with the disorder led her to become one of the top scientists in humane livestock handling. Ormond is set to play Grandin's mother, while Strathairn will play her university science teacher. Ormond, repped by Gersh and Artists Independent Group, next appears in Steven Soderbergh's "Guerrilla," with Benicio Del Toro, and David Fincher's "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
