Producers guild to honor Jeff Skoll


November 18, 2008 Participant Media's Jeff Skoll will be honored with the Producers Guild of America's 2009 Visionary Award at the 20th annual PGA Awards on Jan. 24 at the Hollywood Palladium. Skoll founded Participant in 2004 and has served as executive producer on a slate of socially relevant films that includes "Charlie Wilson's War," "The Kite Runner," "Darfur Now," "Good Night, and Good Luck" and "An Inconvenient Truth," which won two Oscars, including best feature documentary. "Jeff Skoll epitomizes the meaning behind this prestigious award," said PGA awards co-chairs David T. Friendly and Laurence Mark.
